My Albums of 2003

1) The Darkness - Permission to land

 

 A fantastic album with some great tracks on it. I had the privilege to see them play at the Reading festival!
2) Alien Ant Farm - Tru(Ant) '1000 days' kicks this album off well and even though it maybe slightly more somber than their first album it is still as fun but with a more serious twist which I like. I saw them at Reading and they gave a great set.
3) Electric Six - Fire 'GAYBAR', what else do I need to say? I tried to see them at Reading but they were in the small tent and so couldn't as they have achieved cult status. This is a fantastic album, I could relax to 'Synthesizer' all day long
4) The White Stripes - Elephant 'Hardest Button to Button', what a cool track. The repetitive music video really makes me feel strange though.
5) Evanescence - Fallen Love the piano and the brilliant voice of Amy Lee. I want to see them live.
6) Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Greatest Hits A few new tracks, all cracking. Has to go here because the Chilli Peppers are Gods of music.
7) Elbow - A cast of thousands Love the statues, what a great symbol for a great band. Saw them live at Reading.
8) Linkin Park - Meteora I didn't think I liked their recent stuff (i.e. Meteora) until I heard them play at Reading. Well listening to them on the large scale made me sit back and have a second thought. Great album.
9) The Coral - Magic and Medicine 'Pass it on', no I wouldn't to hear this album (unless there was a more pressing issue!)
10) The Strokes - Room on Fire This is probably one of the albums I have listened to less, my house mate is always going on about them so decided to give them a go and found that I enjoy their music.
