| Well I for one after what I had read recently didn't think that the extrasolar planet finding technique of gravitational microlensing was as close as it was to finding extrasolar planets - guess what I was wrong. It has, see: http://www.spaceflightnow.com/news/n0404/15planet/ I have to say I do find the topic of extrasolar planets very interesting as there is so much that we can learn about ourselves from it, it may even help us answer the question of why? But I doubt it - I don't think that one is answerable. |
