After reading http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/3649655.stm I am shocked and saddened to hear that 3,000 people may have died in this disaster. The true extent of this will never be realised if the North Korean government get their way which is again truly shocking. Just think about it - the same amount of people died when the Twin Towers collapsed after terrorist attacks on Sept. 11th 2001 and that had grief spread all over the world. I know it is hard for actual reports to come out of N. Korea due to the secretive nature of the country but even the small information that has come out is not top of the headlines - appalling. |
