The Inaugural Bahrain Grand Prix

Bahrain GP

Well what a venue, absolutely stunning, looks like F1 might have a great future in Bahrain. It was also good to see F1 in a "middle-eastern" country. It was a little strange though seeing the sandy background, but it was good to see that. The track looks like it will see many fantastic overtaking maneuvers in the future, in fact some great ones were seen today.

And guess what Jenson Button got on the podium again!! Only problem those damn Ferraris one again! Give them time and I think BAR and Williams will catch up, well you can only hope so. However I find myself less and less interested in who is going to win, that can be quite inevitable and who is going to win the championship seems inevitable but the lower battles are so intense and some of the overtaking that has been taking place quite stunning.

I also saw this picture on the BBC website:

Lets just say I hope that bloke is holding on well, luckily he didn't lose his grasp otherwise someone might have been driving with an extra person on their lap!
