I have never really been that interested into observing comets, they have always seemed a little dull. Well my opinion has changed vastly over the last few days. Yesterday I came across an image of Hale-Bop and it made me sit back and go wow and then I remembered observing this how absolutely stunning it seemed in the sky. Then earlier today I came acrossa picture of comet C/2004 F4 which was not the most inspiring but then the wow factor came back when I followed the link to the authors website I came across some even more stunning images. Including this fantastic image:

Well I know what I am doing the next clear night we get! That's right I will be taking Astrosoc's new 4.5" refractor out and doing some observing.
