All I can say is - Benitez if you wanted him to stay I bet he would have. You didn't want him to stay and now after you have got rid of Murphy and Owen it is a sad day for Liverpool. Two of our best players have gone and what do you have to show for it? Not much. And talk of Wright-Phillips for £10m - that's lunacy. I didn't want Benitez to manage Liverpool from day 1, I could see this sort of thing happening. Well I will give him a chance but at the moment he has gotten rid of two of our most talent players.

As for Owen, fair play. I don't blame him. He needs to go where he is wanted and deserves the chance to move on, I wish he would stay though. He is still our best player - someone who can always step up to the occasion. Thank you Michael for some wonderful performances and trophies we have won because of your goals.

Well I hope Cisse and Baros can work together, gosh I hope they can.
