I finally decided to add a feature that I have wanted on my site for a while now. This feature is to display what I am now listening to! Well you might think cool or you might think you sad git! Either way it has got a reaction! No I have always thought that it would be particularly cool to have live streaming content to my website and now I have this.

So if you want to see what I am playing now at any point - sometimes you will seem some quiet dodgy music but at other times I am sure you will go "tune". Or for now you can just look here:

I am rather pleased I got this working. To do this I use the "Now Playing" Plugin (see: http://www.cc.jyu.fi/~ltnevala/nowplaying/index.php) for Winamp 5 (an excellent piece of software). This sends the data to my site and then I use a few php scripts to sort out the data into the displayed form. Quite simple really, but for someone who has only touched on php I am pleased. Think I will have to learn more of it as it is quite useful.
