Whenever I see a picture of the Cat's Eye Nebula (NGC 6543) I go wow, but wow just got BIGGER! I'm still not sure though about it's name! :-) I guess it does look a little like a Cat's Eye - especially with a low powered telescope. http://www.spaceflightnow.com (see: http://spaceflightnow.com/news/n0409/11star/) relate it to the "Lord of the Rings" and the penetrating eye of Sauron, why does everything as of late get related to that damn book! (well in this case they probably mean the film for the visual effect).
