I don't own an iPod but if I did I doubt I would do what the subject line of this post suggests. The concept of the website: http://www.smashmyipod.com/ is clear:
"After we collect $400 in donations, we will take that money to a local Apple Store. We will purchase the iPod, open it right inside the store, and destroy it right on the spot. The whole thing will be shot on film, and displayed on this site. This is only a social experiment, for the entertainment of the donors, and visitors of this site. "
Sounds like fun...well it is to watch. Shame about the senseless violence and the fact that the $400 could have so easily been spent on something a little more constructive. Though I guess it gets the anti-iPod point over. Talking of that take a look at: http://www.anti-ipod.co.uk/. It has some funny stuff on it though some of it seems like a bit of a bitch fight. All fun.
