The upper limit to a planet

What with all the recent controversy about the lower limit to what is a planet with Pluto people have been thinking about the upper limit. I thought this was pretty set in stoen with the limit being nicely related to the process of deuterium fusion being sustainable. This does not seem to be the case for everyone and there is a good article about this over at [Bad Astronomy] so go take a look if you ever wondered when a planet no longer becomes a planet.
